Our History
New Roots FamilyCare is a service created by an Ecuadorian family who emigrated to Canada, dedicated to providing babysitting services with care, experience, and warmth. Our website is designed to introduce families to who we are, our qualifications, and how we can support their children's growth and happiness. We are Samantha, Julio, and our daughter Sarah—a family eager to begin a new chapter in Canada. Our mission is to deliver exceptional babysitting services, built on years of experience, professional training, and a genuine passion for nurturing children.

Samantha - Early Childhood Educator
With over 20 years of teaching experience, Samantha brings a robust background in early childhood and youth education. She has worked in school settings both in Ecuador and Canada, excelling in fostering the holistic development of children. Currently, she is pursuing Early Childhood Education at NBCC, further enhancing her expertise in early care and education.
Julio - Childminder
Project Manager
Julio is a project professional with extensive experience in client services and a profound interest in childcare. His journey in this field began with caring for his five nephews and nieces, whom he nurtured from three months old until they reached school age, developing innate caregiving and nurturing skills. As a father, he has strengthened and expanded these abilities through daily experience raising his daughter, Sarah.
Julio combines his technical and interpersonal competencies with a genuine passion for child well-being. In Canada, he has earned key certifications in safety and childcare, solidifying his commitment to excellence and dedication in this field.
Sarah - Playmate
Our little 4-year-old is a perfect example of empathy and sweetness. She loves playing with babies and young children, making her an ideal companion to foster a warm and family-like atmosphere.
